Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly to a variety of audiences
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, communications, research, and analytics
- Experience with social media platforms, content management, and analytics tools is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build effective working relationships with stakeholders
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and technologies to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, or solve business challenges
Education
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 - June 2028
- Ability to work full-time for the duration of the program from June 7 through August 13, 2027
Responsibilities
Support the Digital Outreach team by promoting thought leadership and research content, analyzing social media performance, and developing insights that enhance audience engagement and outreach effectiveness.
- Curate and organize research, thought leadership, and business content for social media and employee advocacy channels
- Assist in developing and maintaining content calendars, publishing schedules, and campaign execution plans
- Monitor social media channels to identify content trends, engagement opportunities, and high-performing topics
- Collect, analyze, and interpret social media and outreach performance data, including impressions, reach, engagement, clicks, and other key metrics
- Prepare recurring reports, dashboards, presentations, and strategic updates to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving content performance, audience engagement, and outreach strategies
- Support employee advocacy initiatives by sourcing, organizing, and promoting content for internal ambassadors
- Collaborate with stakeholders to source visuals and optimize content according to social media best practices
- Participate in evaluating new outreach and engagement channels and identifying opportunities to expand audience visibility and impact
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and contribute recommendations to improve performance and engagement outcomes
- Contribute to special projects related to digital outreach, content strategy, audience growth, and reporting
About the Team
The Digital Outreach team supports the promotion and visibility of Moody’s research, insights, and thought leadership across external and internal channels. Working closely with research, communications, marketing, and business stakeholders, the team develops outreach strategies that expand audience engagement, enhance brand visibility, and deliver data-driven insights to inform future content and communication initiatives.
Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June – August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody’s business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
