At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
- Goal-oriented, resilient, and self-motivated, with the determination to meet or exceed contributor acquisition goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage

- Consultative discovery skills, including the ability to identify business needs, data availability, decision criteria, and potential implementation barriers
- Confidence delivering presentations and demonstrations to prospective contributors and stakeholders at different levels of an organization
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across client and prospect organizations while managing multiple opportunities and follow-up commitments
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and consistent CRM discipline; Salesforce experience is preferred

- Undergraduate or first-level degree (for example, a bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Experience in inside sales, business development, data acquisition, contributor recruitment, financial information, credit, collections, or a related field is preferred
- Experience managing a multi-stage pipeline and coordinating with operational or technical teams is preferred
- Identify and engage prospective data contributors whose accounts receivable or trade payment information may strengthen Pulse coverage
- Conduct outbound prospecting by telephone, email, virtual meetings, referrals, and other approved channels to build and maintain a healthy contributor pipeline
- Qualify opportunities by understanding the prospect's business, available data, technical readiness, decision process, and potential fit with Pulse participation requirements
- Explain the Pulse contributor value proposition clearly and accurately, including how contributed data supports trade payment insights and how participants may use the solution
- Deliver high-level presentations and detailed demonstrations tailored to business, credit, collections, finance, and technical stakeholders
- Build relationships across prospect organizations, including business sponsors, data owners, and technology contacts, to maintain momentum and resolve barriers
- Partner with Data Operations, Data Quality, Customer Success, Product, Legal, Compliance, and other internal teams to support due diligence, file mapping, data transfer, onboarding, and issue resolution
- Maintain complete and accurate records of outreach, meetings, opportunity stages, next steps, risks, and outcomes in Salesforce or other approved systems
- Meet or exceed individual activity, pipeline, onboarding, and contributor acquisition goals aligned with Pulse and Data Estate priorities
- Provide market feedback on prospect needs, objections, data availability, competitive considerations, and process improvement opportunities
- Follow Moody's policies and applicable requirements for responsible data handling, confidentiality, information security, compliance, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools
