- 15+ years of progressive experience in banking, financial services, consulting, product strategy, or commercial leadership roles, with deep expertise in commercial and corporate lending gained within financial institutions and/or banking solution providers
- Experience leading customer discovery and senior client conversations, converting insights into differentiated value propositions and investment recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence diverse cross-functional stakeholders, aligning teams behind a shared strategic vision and coordinating execution to deliver measurable business outcomes in complex environments
- Highly developed written and verbal communications skills and interpersonal savvy, with the ability to articulate compelling strategic rationale to diverse audiences
- Collaborative team player who works effectively with colleagues and project stakeholders across functions and geographies
- Proven ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage multiple complex bodies of work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field required
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred
- Define and maintain the medium- to long-term vision, strategic direction, and priorities for the Lending domain, aligned with Banking growth goals and the Grow/Win/Monitor/Optimize customer lifecycle
- Develop deep understanding of lending workflows, personas, jobs-to-be-done, customer pain points, target customer profiles, and differences across segments and bank tiers
- Lead market assessment and segmentation, including market trends, regulatory developments, emerging technologies, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
- Translate customer and market insight into a clear domain strategy, strategic use cases, value-chain opportunities, and recommended future-state positioning for Moody's
- Lead domain-level build, partner, or buy assessments and shape investment priorities, business cases, and resource recommendations
- Partner with Product Strategy to convert domain priorities into differentiated propositions and high-level solution direction
- Coordinate execution across Product, Engineering, Data Estate, Advisory, Partnerships, Go-to-Market/Sales, Finance, and other Moody's businesses; surface dependencies and resolve strategic misalignment
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $198,300.00 - $287,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
