Skills and Competencies
- Experience working with Agile product development processes
- Prior experience as a technical business analyst or technical product manager
- Experience analyzing and designing relational and non-relational datasets, including complex entity relationships
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis or similar AI-enabled data platforms
- Experience partnering with Legal, Risk, and Data Governance to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a matrixed environment and drive stakeholder alignment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with persistence in delivering solutions
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with interest in applying AI tools and responsible AI practices
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, computer science, data science, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the enterprise Logical Data Model as the authoritative source for entities and relationships
- Translate business use cases into scalable, standardized data modeling requirements
- Ensure conceptual consistency across data stores, APIs, and consumption layers
- Define and manage enterprise relationship models, including structure and documentation standards
- Establish and enforce modeling standards to ensure scalability and alignment across domains
- Partner with Data Quality teams to align modeling with quality rules and governance standards
- Drive AI-ready data modeling practices, including clear semantics and stable relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve modeling conflicts and improve data integrity
About the Team
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $151,000.00 - $218,950.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
