- 8–10+ years of experience across Technology Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis, Cloud Economics, Engineering Finance, Product Finance, FinOps, or related disciplines
- Strong understanding of cloud cost drivers and consumption-based pricing models, including experience with platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, MongoDB, Confluent, or similar environments
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Engineering and Product organizations to translate technical decisions into financial insights and executive narratives
- Strong financial modeling and scenario analysis capabilities, with proven experience building driver-based financial models and forecasts
- Understanding of FinOps concepts, allocation methodologies, tagging governance, and cloud governance practices
- Executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and influence without direct authority
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge assumptions constructively and drive data-driven decision-making across Finance, Engineering, and Product teams
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
- Serve as Finance's primary business partner to MA Engineering, Product, and Technology leadership for cloud spend, cloud economics, and cloud investment decisions, with a focus on understanding and translating the business and engineering drivers behind cloud spend
- Build trusted relationships across Engineering, Product, FinOps, and Finance teams, representing Finance in cloud-related planning, forecasting, investment, and governance discussions
- Support and enhance driver-based cloud consumption models across key MA products, connecting product usage, engineering activity, migrations, architecture decisions, and roadmap investments to cloud spend outcomes
- Lead cloud forecasting activities, support annual planning and rolling forecasts, and perform driver-based variance analysis that translates cloud spend movements into executive-ready business narratives
- Build product-level cloud cost transparency and attribution frameworks, partnering with FinOps teams on tagging governance, allocation methodologies, product mapping, unit economics, marketplace consumption, and commitment management
- Prepare materials and actionable insights for senior Finance leadership and MA executives, presenting findings and recommendations that support cloud investment and governance decisions across Engineering and Product leadership
- Challenge assumptions and influence decision-making through data-driven analysis, supporting strategic cloud governance and cloud investment reviews
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $135,700.00 - $196,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
