Skills and Competencies
  • Problem Solving: Ability to facilitate problem-solving and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
  • Customer Service: Ability to deliver technical assistance and business support to Moody's associates both locally and remotely in the use of Microsoft products, MacOS, VPN software, AI-powered tools, and various proprietary applications
  • Troubleshooting: Ability to configure, install, support, troubleshoot, and repair client workstations, printers, mobile devices, and audio/video and office equipment
  • Reporting: Ability to provide timely follow-up to users and management on all support issues, ensuring that all phases of desktop support — including installations, upgrades, software, hardware, and operating system configuration — are properly coordinated, monitored, tracked, and resolved
  • Relationship Management: Ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders and end users to facilitate feedback and partner effectively on deliverables
  • Root Cause Analysis: Ability to identify and report on recurring technical issues, documenting root causes and preventative measures to reduce repeat incidents
  • Experience in Desktop and/or Help Desk support preferred
  • Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is preferred
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) is highly desirable
  • Candidates ideally graduation in 2028
  • Anticipated Start Date: March 2027
Responsibilities
Provide technical services to internal customers by identifying, prioritizing, and confirming resolution of reported problems within established service level agreements.
  • Deliver end-user technical support in a Windows 11 environment, ensuring incidents are resolved accurately and within established service level agreements
  • Configure, install, and maintain client workstations, printers, mobile devices, and audio/video equipment to support day-to-day business operations
  • Provide technical assistance to Moody's associates both locally and remotely in the use of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, MacOS, VPN software, and various proprietary applications
  • Coordinate and track all phases of desktop support — including software and hardware upgrades, operating system configuration, and installations — to ensure accurate and timely resolution
  • Partner with stakeholders and end users to gather feedback, facilitate problem-solving, and deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on significant or recurring technical issues and document findings and preventative measures for team knowledge sharing
  • Uphold Moody's values in all daily activities to consistently meet business needs and support a positive end-user experience
About the Team
The Technical Support Analyst (TSA) team is located globally throughout Moody's offices, with 100 team members providing end-user support both in person and remotely. The team collaborates daily within their offices and across regions, sharing information on trending issues and enforcing global policies at a local level. Central to the team's success is an unwavering commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience and providing meaningful feedback to leadership on ways to continuously improve service delivery.
