Skills and Competencies
- 1-3 years of exposure to banking, credit and/or financial industry
- Strong quantitative skills and ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks with strong excel skills
- Working knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) concepts
- Working knowledge of SSRS, Crystal Reports or JasperReports is a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL (query), VBA, and/or Python is preferred
- Working knowledge with AI tools is preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with professionals at all levels
Education
- Undergraduate or graduate degree with emphasis in finance, economics, accounting, math, computer science or related quantitative field.
- Background in structured finance or consumer loan servicing preferred
Responsibilities
- Work in conjunction with other members of the MA Issuer Solution implementation team to implement and configure ABS Suite and related products.
- Theoretical understanding of advanced financial concepts, swap payments, reconciliations, caps, floors and participation in the creation cashflow modelling for structured finance
- Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement securitization products and services
- In conjunction with other team members, participate in client meetings and due diligence sessions with responsibility to document business requirements
- Provide input on client requirements to senior team member as well as the product management team
- Developing and building reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS, JasperReports
- Develop business requirements, design and execute SQL queries, and test solutions to ensure they meet client requirements
- Support clients by answering business related questions with the applications and assist the team on technical presentations and travel as needed to client sites for on-site visit
About the team
The Professional Services team provides for the implementation of Moody’s Analytics’ Issuer tools and Solutions. This may include customization of the solutions, as well as development of bespoke solutions, on-site installation, configuration and training services.

We deliver and configure ABS Suite and structured finance solutions, helping clients manage complex securitization transactions accurately and efficiently. We translate client needs into technical solutions for cashflow modeling, reconciliation, and reporting, while building strong client relationships.
By joining our team, you will be gaining hands-on exposure to structured finance and consumer loan servicing from both business and technical angles. You'll develop SQL, reporting, and financial modeling skills on real client engagements, working closely with clients and senior team members.
