Skills and Competencies
  • 3–5 years of software development experience, ideally with exposure to cloud-based data engineering
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark
  • Experience in building agentic AI workflows is a plus
  • Interest in learning and working with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft AI services
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a curious and self-learning mindset
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and understand business objectives
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI practices.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and optimization of cloud-based data solutions while contributing to scalable engineering practices and AI-enabled innovation initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and data solutions on a modern cloud data platform
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in SQL, Python, and PySpark
  • Build and optimize data models, transformations, and ingestion processes for both batch and incremental workloads
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines and implement reliable, performant solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding standards and engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and manage code repositories in GitHub or Azure DevOps
  • Support knowledge sharing within the team around data engineering best practices
About the Team
The Corporate Systems team, part of the Technology Services Group, supports Moody’s core business and technology operations by enabling reliable day-to-day execution, strong coordination, and effective governance across corporate platforms and shared services. The team partners closely with senior leaders, product teams, and stakeholders across the enterprise to drive operational excellence while advancing innovation, including the adoption and enablement of AI-driven capabilities. By bringing structure, clarity, and rigor to complex environments, team members contribute to high-impact work that improves how technology is delivered, operated, and evolved across the organization, helping ensure Moody’s systems remain resilient, forward-looking, and positioned for continued growth.

Annual base salary gross: €44,200.00 to €70,800.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
