At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.

If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.

  • 7+ years of experience in Know Your Customer, anti-money laundering, financial crime, compliance technology, data, software as a service, enterprise software, or related roles, with a strong understanding of bank compliance and financial crime workflows
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated success engaging senior decision-makers and navigating large, complex financial institutions
  • Consultative problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose client needs across people, processes, data, and technology and translate complex requirements into clear solution narratives and value propositions
  • Collaborative and self-directed approach, with the ability to work across sales, product, strategy, and client-facing teams to support complex sales cycles and go-to-market execution
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a broader team
  • Familiarity with automation, analytics, and data-driven workflow transformation is preferred
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
  • Undergraduate or first-level degree, such as a bachelor’s degree, required, preferably in business, economics, finance, marketing, technology, or a related field
Responsibilities
Serve as a domain expert who helps financial institutions modernize compliance workflows while supporting complex sales cycles.
  • Partner with internal sales teams, relationship managers, and external partners while independently prospecting, qualifying, and advancing Know Your Customer and anti-money laundering opportunities across banks and financial institutions
  • Lead discovery to understand client workflows, pain points, business drivers, and technology environments, then translate findings into solution positioning, value drivers, use cases, and next steps
  • Support complex sales cycles by delivering tailored demonstrations, presentations, proposals, business cases, and account strategies that connect Moody’s capabilities to client needs
  • Build trusted client relationships as a Know Your Customer and anti-money laundering subject matter expert, providing practical insight on compliance trends, workflow modernization, data, analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence
  • Share client, market, product, and competitive insights with internal teams to inform roadmap priorities, go-to-market strategy, enablement, and sales execution
  • Represent Moody’s in client meetings, industry events, conferences, and partner forums, with travel of approximately 30–50% based on business needs
