Skills and Competencies
  • 4–7 years’ experience in enterprise or complex B2B sales, ideally within data, analytics, risk, compliance, or workflow-enabled solutions.
  • Demonstrated success building and progressing pipeline within a defined corporate client segment, balancing retention, expansion, and new logo acquisition.
  • Strong consultative selling capability, with the ability to ask incisive questions, challenge assumptions, and translate complex business problems into solution-led value propositions.
  • Existing relationships within Australian corporate organisations, or strong familiarity with local enterprise buying centres and decision-making dynamics.
  • Proven pipeline discipline, CRM hygiene, and forecasting accuracy, with a strong sense of ownership over outcomes.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and longer sales cycles.
  • Clear, confident communicator with the ability to influence both customers and internal stakeholders in a matrixed organisation.
  • Self-directed, resilient, and outcome-oriented; comfortable operating independently while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative team environment.
  • Curious and adaptable, with a willingness to leverage GenAI and modern sales tools to improve insight generation, preparation, and customer engagement.
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, technology, or a related discipline.
Responsibilities
This role is responsible for driving revenue growth across a defined portfolio of corporate clients by aligning Moody’s Analytics’ data, analytics, and workflow solutions to customer needs and business outcomes.
  • Own and grow a defined portfolio of corporate customers, driving retention, expansion, and new revenue across Moody’s Analytics’ data, analytics, and workflow solutions.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of opportunities, demonstrating consistent execution from qualification through to close.
  • Develop trusted relationships with client stakeholders by developing a deep understanding of their priorities, operating challenges, and decision frameworks.
  • Identify and progress new use cases and expansion opportunities that align customer needs with Moody’s Analytics’ capabilities.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements including discovery, solution positioning, demonstrations, and commercial discussions, in close partnership with internal specialists.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and activity tracking in line with Moody’s sales governance and performance expectations.
  • Actively utilise GenAI and approved sales enablement tools to enhance productivity, deal preparation, insight development, and engagement quality.
  • Contribute to a high-performance, team-based sales culture by sharing insights, supporting peers, and engaging constructively across functions.
About the Team
You will join the Moody’s Analytics Australia & New Zealand Sales team, a high-performing group of enterprise sales professionals based across Sydney and Melbourne. The team partners with large, complex corporate organisations to deliver data, analytics, and workflow solutions that support critical business, risk, and regulatory decisions. Operating within a highly collaborative regional sales organisation, the team works closely with Product Specialists, Solutions Consultants, Customer Success, Finance, and Legal to originate, structure, and close complex engagements while building long-term, trusted client relationships across the region.
