Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive hands-on experience supporting enterprise performance management (EPM) and financial planning platforms, such as OneStream, Fabric IQ Planning, Oracle EPM/Hyperion, IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Anaplan, or similar systems, with demonstrated ability to quickly learn new financial planning technologies and transition between or work across multiple EPM systems
  • Experience supporting EPM or financial planning systems for Finance and Accounting, including system operations, business analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation or enhancement initiatives
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel modelling, Visual Basic .NET, SQL Server; familiarity with Fabric Lakehouse and IQ Planning is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business and technical issues, identify root causes, translate business needs into actionable technical solutions, and provide effective support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skilled in project and issue management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow, ensuring efficient workflows and resolution tracking
  • Success in cross-functional team collaboration, stakeholder relationship management, and aligning priorities to achieve shared business goals in dynamic environments
  • Working knowledge of Semarchy or similar enterprise Master Data Management platforms with exposure to MDM governance concepts is a plus
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or Project Management
  • Relevant EPM or financial planning platform certifications preferred
Responsibilities
Seeking an experienced Senior EPM Solutions Analyst to support financial planning systems, improve processes, and enable smarter decisions.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, design actionable strategies, and implement EPM and financial planning solutions to enhance performance and enable strategic decision-making
  • Leverage EPM and planning technologies to transform financial data into actionable insights and develop solutions that support evolving business needs
  • Lead operational excellence across the SDLC and incident management, utilizing JIRA for structured project plans, timely delivery, and compliance with audit standards
  • Manage security protocols, access provisioning, and governance activities, ensuring SOX compliance and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Drive efficiency through process automation, data reconciliation improvements, and deployment of BI tools and advanced technologies
  • Oversee platform scalability, proactive issue resolution, and continuous improvement, ensuring transparency with detailed project reporting
  • Execute administrative tasks and streamline master data operations in Semarchy, including maintaining user access privileges, supporting data steward workflows, monitoring hierarchy job execution, and coordinating on approval workflows and audit reviews, while enhancing workflow transparency, strengthening data governance, minimizing incident frequency, and mitigating audit risks
  • Develop SOPs, mentor team members, and deliver impactful training programs to empower users and maximize the EPM platform's capabilities
About the Team
The EPM Team, part of the Data and Analytics department, focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and enabling digital transformation through financial modelling, data management, innovation, and AI solutions. The team uses AI to enhance processes, automate routine work, strengthen data analysis, and support more efficient, informed decision-making. We partner closely with the Finance team to foster innovation, optimize processes, and empower smarter, faster decision-making. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $119,100.00 - $172,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
