Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of and interest in Organizational Change Management, with an eagerness to learn how change management approaches and tools help people understand, adopt and navigate organizational change
- Interest in change communications and stakeholder engagement, including how clear and engaging communications can help build awareness, understanding and adoption of change
- Interest in using digital communication tools and channels to support change communications, stakeholder engagement and employee experiences during organizational change
- Interest in HR technology and Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, with curiosity about how technology-enabled solutions, such as Workday, can support employees, managers and HR processes
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas clearly and professionally and build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, take ownership of assigned tasks, show initiative, and confidently raise questions, ideas or concerns when appropriate
- Strong relationship-building skills, with an appreciation for different perspectives and working styles and a thoughtful, adaptable approach to working with stakeholders across an organization
- Strong adaptability and a growth mindset, demonstrated through academic studies, extracurricular activities, internships, volunteering or other work experience, with a willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
- Curiosity and interest in exploring how AI tools can support Change Management, improve ways of working and drive efficiency, alongside a willingness to develop an understanding of responsible and ethical AI use
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively and meet agreed deadlines
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with curiosity and an ability to gather information, identify themes and contribute to practical solutions
Education
- Currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Expected graduation date of May 2028 - June 2029
- Ability to work during the full program dates: June 7th – August 13th 2027
Responsibilities
This summer internship sits within the Change Management team in People Solutions and offers hands-on experience supporting the people side of an enterprise-wide system deployment within a dynamic, global organization. Support the Change Management team in delivering change activities for the enterprise-wide implementation of Workday, helping employees, managers and People teams understand, prepare for and adopt new processes, technology and ways of working.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of change communications, helping create clear, engaging and audience-appropriate materials that build awareness and understanding of the Workday transformation
- Support learning and adoption activities by helping to develop, coordinate and maintain training materials, guidance and other resources that enable employees, managers and People teams to successfully transition to Workday
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the People function, Workday program and wider organization, adapting communication and engagement approaches to meet the needs of different audiences and stakeholder groups
- Support the coordination and tracking of Change Management activities, including maintaining materials, monitoring actions and milestones, gathering feedback and helping identify emerging change needs or challenges
- Contribute to team discussions and problem solving, bringing curiosity, initiative and a solutions-oriented mindset while developing practical experience of Change Management within a large-scale People transformation
About the Team
The People Solutions team supports Moody’s global People function by developing, integrating, and improving the systems and processes used to manage employee data and key moments across the employee lifecycle. With a strong focus on Human Capital Management, the team partners with stakeholders across People and the business to understand needs, solve operational challenges, support change, and deliver practical technology solutions that make People processes more connected, efficient, and user-friendly. As part of this team, you will gain exposure to global HR operations, system integrations, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement in a collaborative environment.
Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June – August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly wage for this position is $35/hr.
