We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
- 6+ years of product management experience at a technology, data, or analytics company, including taking new products or major capabilities from early concept to market and driving them to initial commercial traction; required because this role takes a newly launched product through to paying customers
- Hands-on experience building and shipping products powered by artificial intelligence or machine learning, ideally computer vision or vision-language models, including familiarity with model evaluation, quality trade-offs, and the operational realities of non-deterministic systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use, with the expectation of developing deep expertise in AI governance and responsible adoption over time in partnership with our machine learning team
- Experience managing products within a large, established portfolio, balancing roadmap investment across many customers, product lines, and stakeholders; required because this role spans a new product and an established property underwriting portfolio
- Demonstrated commercial accountability, including executing product launches, shaping pricing and packaging in partnership with commercial teams, and converting pilot engagements into paying customers; required because this role is measured on adoption and revenue
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, design, legal, privacy, risk, and go-to-market functions; required because launches and new capabilities must clear all of these to ship
- Strong customer discovery and enterprise client-facing skills, with the ability to present to senior executives and turn customer feedback into clear product decisions; required for leading carrier pilots and evaluations
- Experience in property and casualty insurance, insurance technology, or property data and analytics is strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required; an advanced degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and commercial outcomes for an AI-powered property inspection analytics product as it moves from commercial launch to scaled adoption with insurance carriers
- Extend ownership into the broader property underwriting portfolio, identifying and pursuing opportunities where new data and AI create the most value for insurers
- Collaborate daily with machine learning and platform engineering teams on scope, model quality, evaluation, trade-offs, and delivery, including decisions on when model output is ready to ship and how the product handles model errors
- Partner with the pricing and packaging function to ensure commercial models reflect product value to carriers, and manage the commercial funnel from evaluation agreements through proof of value to paid conversion, with accountability for adoption and revenue targets
- Lead pilot and evaluation relationships with insurance carriers and ecosystem partners, including evaluation plans, results reviews, and turning feedback into roadmap decisions
- Drive the launch and release process for new products and capabilities, including release criteria, sales enablement, training, and support readiness
- Shepherd legal, privacy, risk, and artificial intelligence governance reviews to completion for owned products
