Skills and Competencies

• Minimum of five years of experience leading complex technology projects, with significant experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or enterprise transformation initiatives
• Strong understanding of the mergers and acquisitions technology lifecycle, including due diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, integration execution, transition management, and integration completion
• Experience assessing technology environments across infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, cybersecurity controls, collaboration services, data, and operational processes
• Experience leading technology integration workstreams involving Microsoft 365, identity and access management, network integration, end-user computing, cloud migration, application rationalisation, and data migration
• Strong understanding of project and programme delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches
• Familiarity with Transition Service Agreements, separation planning, service continuity, and post-close integration activities
• Experience with infrastructure deployments, office relocations, network services, audiovisual systems, and enterprise workplace technology solutions
• Proficiency in delivery and reporting tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Excel, Confluence, and related platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, with the ability to evaluate business impact, identify integration risks, and develop practical mitigation strategies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting, presentation development, facilitation, and decision support
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across business, technology, legal, finance, human resources, security, compliance, sourcing, and corporate real estate functions
• Understanding of information security, technology risk, compliance, data privacy, and governance requirements, with the ability to operate effectively in highly confidential environments involving sensitive transaction and strategic business information
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related discipline
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Change management certification, such as Prosci, is desirable

Responsibilities

The AVP-Delivery Manager leads end-to-end technology integration programmes associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic corporate initiatives, ensuring operational readiness, risk management, and delivery excellence across global, multi-stakeholder environments.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology integration programmes associated with mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic corporate initiatives; develop and maintain integration roadmaps, detailed delivery plans, dependencies, milestones, decision points, and governance forums to ensure coherent programme execution
• Lead Day 1 technology readiness, ensuring acquired employees and critical business operations can function effectively with agreed services, access, connectivity, support, and controls; drive post-close and target-state integration planning, including Day 100 priorities where applicable, transition activities, remediation, and integration completion criteria
• Participate in technology due diligence and discovery activities for proposed acquisitions and divestitures; coordinate assessment of infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity controls, applications, collaboration tools, networks, end-user services, data, vendors, contracts, and technology operations; consolidate findings into clear recommendations, assumptions, dependencies, and cost considerations for decision-makers
• Partner with technical workstream leads to define target-state solutions and executable integration strategies; coordinate migrations involving collaboration platforms, identity services, endpoints, applications, data, cloud services, networks, and workplace technologies; oversee cutovers, migration events, operational readiness reviews, hypercare, handover to service teams, and legacy-service decommissioning
• Manage dependencies between technology and business workstreams, including human resources onboarding, finance, legal, compliance, sourcing, communications, and corporate real estate; manage technology obligations and exit milestones associated with Transition Service Agreements, where applicable
• Establish and maintain programme governance, delivery controls, risk, assumption, issue, and dependency logs, integrated plans, dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting; monitor programme health, decisions, constraints, dependencies, financial position, and resource requirements; escalate promptly when intervention is required
• Serve as a primary coordination point between technology teams, business sponsors, the Integration Management Office, acquired-company stakeholders, and third-party suppliers; facilitate discovery workshops, planning sessions, steering committees, design reviews, readiness assessments, and executive governance meetings; manage supplier deliverables, commercial dependencies, statements of work, performance, and escalation paths in partnership with sourcing and vendor management teams
• Provide leadership across multiple concurrent integration initiatives; support budget development, forecasting, cost tracking, investment decisions, and financial reporting; track technology synergies, cost optimisation opportunities, and benefits-realisation measures; mentor project managers and delivery resources, promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

About the Team

The Technology Services Group Delivery Management team leads complex technology initiatives that enable Moody's strategic business objectives. The team partners with business stakeholders, senior leaders, technical specialists, and the Integration Management Office to deliver mergers and acquisitions, technology transformations, workplace technology deployments, cloud migrations, and enterprise operational improvements. Through disciplined governance, strong stakeholder engagement, and effective delivery practices, the team supports successful integration, operational resilience, risk reduction, and continued business growth. Annual base salary gross: €64,200.00 to €102,600.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
