Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of commercial lending workflows including loan origination, underwriting, risk rating, portfolio management, due diligence, loan documentation, and Know Your Customer and Know Your Business processes
- Experience in commercial banking, commercial credit, pre-sales, customer success, technical consulting, or related client-facing roles
- Ability to independently lead client workshops, gather business requirements, and translate client needs into high-level functional solution designs
- Experience supporting solution design, project scoping, implementation estimation, proposals, requests for proposal responses, and contract discussions
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and articulate complex concepts clearly
- Experience with commercial lending, loan origination, or credit risk technology platforms preferred; familiarity with reporting tools, database technologies, and banking system architectures is a plus
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive with a continuous improvement mindset
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
- Fluency in English required; Spanish or French language skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Establish a clear understanding of customer lending goals, operational challenges, and future business objectives
- Facilitate business requirements and solution design workshops to analyze loan origination and underwriting processes
- Lead and support solution design activities, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Create and define implementation scope, process flows, project estimates, timelines, and supporting engagement documentation
- Support commercial discussions regarding project scope, technical capabilities, implementation approaches, customer expectations, and contractual requirements
- Collaborate with clients, sales teams, and delivery teams to formalize project engagements and ensure successful handoff to implementation
- Develop proposals, statements of work, and responses to requests for proposal, requests for information, and other sales support activities
- Share industry best practices, support product improvement initiatives, and deliver internal and external knowledge-sharing sessions
About the Team
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $119,100.00 - $172,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
