Skills and Competencies

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in credit analysis; exposure to corporate and infrastructure sectors is desirable
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Strong analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret data and support sound credit conclusions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI 
    systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in economics, accounting, engineering, business administration, statistics, actuarial science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support the credit analysis and ongoing monitoring of a portfolio of public and private issuers by evaluating financial, legal, sector, and market information to inform credit risk assessments. The role offers the opportunity to develop a strong understanding of Moody’s Local methodologies and apply them in a rigorous analytical framework.

  • Conduct quantitative analysis of financial statements, asset performance, and economic and market data, as well as qualitative assessment of business strategy, financial policy, corporate governance, and other relevant credit factors
  • Review issuance documentation and other legal materials to understand transaction terms, structures, financial covenants, and guarantees
  • Gather information from internal and external sources and prepare sector research and analytical materials, including contributions to final reports
  • Support credit monitoring and surveillance of issuing entities by preparing monitoring materials, updating analytical inputs, and escalating items that may require further creditreview
  • Collaborate with members of the analytical team under the general guidance of the direct Manager
  • Participate in external meetings with issuers, financial advisors, and other market participants

About the Team

As part of the infrastructure team, the selected candidate will contribute to analytical work related to nationally significant infrastructure projects and issuers, supporting assessments in a dynamic, growing, and strategically important sector for Moody´s
