- 7–10 years of experience in internal communications, employee experience, or HR communications, ideally within a large, global organization
- Proven experience partnering directly with HR and People teams on sensitive or complex workforce communications
- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to translate policy and program changes into clear, human, and compelling narratives
- Strong judgment and discretion when handling confidential or emotionally sensitive content
- Experience with employee engagement or lifecycle communications platforms and metrics
- Proven people management skills with a player-coach mindset, including the ability to set strategy, establish priorities, and guide execution while developing team capabilities
- Ability to operate cross-functionally and align internal messaging with the broader organizational voice and brand
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in artificial intelligence tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Bachelor's degree required
- Own the strategic direction and lead the team responsible for employee lifecycle, communications, including onboarding, promotions, anniversaries, recognition programs, and career-milestone moments
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CHRO and People leadership team, building a clear and cohesive narrative that demonstrates the impact of People team priorities and objectives across the workforce
- Partner with the People team to translate policy and program changes in areas such as performance, compensation, and benefits into clear, credible, and timely employee communications
- Support enterprise-wide internal communications strategies, ensuring lifecycle messaging is consistent with the company's broader voice and tone
- Develop content and channels that advance culture and engagement initiatives, including recognition and employee-storytelling programs
- Advise People leadership on communications approach for sensitive workforce topics, including organizational change
- Measure the effectiveness of lifecycle communications and continuously refine programs based on employee feedback and engagement data
- Collaborate with Executive Visibility, Brand, and Regional Communications teams to ensure alignment between internal and external narratives
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $151,300.00 - $219,400.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
