Skills and Competencies
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Product Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience with software development lifecycles, Agile delivery, testing practices, and production support
  • Strong requirements-gathering, process-mapping, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience translating complex business requirements into actionable technical deliverables
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, data models, and SQL
  • Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and system-to-system integrations
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Postman, Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, and Salesforce CPQ and Billing
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
We are seeking a technically capable Product Analyst to support our billing and pricing product team, combining traditional analysis skills with a strong understanding of databases, APIs, and software development practices.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, process flows, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
  • Partner with product managers to define priorities, maintain the product backlog, and support roadmap planning
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, and integration teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and clearly understood
  • Use SQL and other data analysis tools to investigate issues, validate requirements, and reconcile data
  • Assist with API analysis and testing using tools such as Postman, including reviewing responses and payloads
  • Define test scenarios and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, and production validation
  • Investigate production issues, identify root causes, assess business impact, and coordinate resolution across technical and business teams
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations, and retrospectives

Our Product team is responsible for defining and delivering digital solutions that empower Moody's business partners. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in commercial digital product development and customer experience innovation. We actively explore and adopt AI tools to improve processes and drive efficiency across our product lifecycle.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200.00 - $143,900.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
