Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or similar programming languages, with a strong foundation in software development best practices and engineering principles
  • Comfortable working across the full stack: frontend components, API design, backend services, and database queries
  • Expertise in artificial intelligence, AI agents and agentic workflows, including tool-use patterns, harness/skills/plugin architectures, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency
  • Experience with system integrations and modern protocols, including Model Context Protocol (MCP) and related interoperability standards (A2A)
  • Experience with data feeds and data delivery via batch ingestion, streaming and connector frameworks for enterprise data delivery
  • Hands-on experience across major cloud platforms and marketplace ecosystems, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, and Databricks
  • Understanding of Enterprise OAuth flows and secure authentication patterns for multi-platform integrations
  • Strong technical background combined with a product-focused mindset, including demonstrated knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and application packaging and deployment
  • Proven experience delivering technical proofs of concept (POCs), live demonstrations, and prototype solutions to prospects, partners, and enterprise clients
  • Proven experience leading solution architecture design, technical diagramming, and whiteboarding sessions to communicate and validate system design decisions
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver results
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (Git, Docker, Terraform, Jira) preferred
  • Understanding of event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, and distributed architectures preferred
  • Ability to evaluate trade-offs between data models, query patterns, and integration topologies preferred
  • Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, ECS, or equivalent) preferred
  • Exposure to search platforms (OpenSearch, Elasticsearch) or ETL pipelines preferred
  • Experience building or integrating with marketplace listing workflows (Azure Marketplace, AWS Marketplace, Databricks Partner Connect) preferred
  • Experience with Teams bots and Microsoft AI delivery channels preferred
  • Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field required; advanced degree preferred
Responsibilities
This role leads the design and deployment of AI-powered integration solutions, bridging Moody's analytical platforms with partner ecosystems through cutting-edge engineering and agentic architecture.
  • Architect end-to-end technical solutions, producing system diagrams, architecture documentation, and whiteboard presentations that align engineering efforts with product vision and stakeholder expectations
  • Lead the design and development of GenAI-powered solutions, including large language model-based tooling and AI agents that extend Moody's analytical capabilities into partner ecosystems
  • Build and maintain agentic workflows, skills, and tool-use integrations that allow AI systems to interact with Moody's platforms and third-party services via Model Context Protocol and related protocols
  • Serve as a technical advisor in client-facing engagements, effectively communicating complex AI architectures, solution options, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Build and deliver compelling proofs of concept, live demonstrations, and prototype solutions that showcase Moody's capabilities and accelerate partner adoption
  • Deploy, monitor, and optimize integrations across cloud environments including Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, and other marketplaces
  • Drive the full software development lifecycle from ideation through application packaging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring high-quality and scalable engineering outcomes
  • Define and implement integration patterns and protocols, including Model Context Protocol and Agent-to-Agent (A2A), to ensure seamless interoperability across platforms and systems
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals, market opportunities, and evolving AI capabilities

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $132,600.00 - $192,300.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
