Skills and Competencies

  • 8-12 years of expertise in end-to-end strategic sourcing, category management, and commercial negotiations within a global organization
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders in a matrixed environment
  • Solid understanding of contract management, supplier risk, compliance, and governance frameworks
  • Proven ability to identify and deliver cost savings, cost avoidance, and long-term value creation
  • Experience leveraging procurement systems, data, and automation/AI to drive efficiency and informed decision-making
  • Tools used – Ariba, Coupa

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent qualification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing initiatives end-to-end within approved spend thresholds, ensuring compliant and value-driven outcomes
  • Support category strategy development in partnership with category leads and key stakeholders
  • Partner with Legal on contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and terminations
  • Act as a trusted procurement advisor to business stakeholders across functions
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, governance frameworks, and third-party risk requirements
  • Promote responsible sourcing, ESG, and supplier diversity principles
  • Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across procurement operations
  • Contribute to team capability building through knowledge sharing and mentoring

The team partners closely with legal, risk, cybersecurity, privacy, finance, and technology stakeholders to drive global sourcing excellence and regulatory compliance.
