Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, allocations, and period-end close
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS with the ability to apply standards to moderately complex transactions
- Experience performing subledger reconciliations across payroll, leases, debt, derivatives, AP, and AR with accuracy and timeliness
- Strong analytical skills, including variance analysis, root-cause identification, and corrective action recommendations
- Experience supporting internal and external audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation and controls
- Proficiency with SAP, BlackLine, and advanced Excel
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, with growing awareness of AI risk management and responsible use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant executes core Record-to-Report activities to support accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across global operations.
- Prepare and review routine to moderately complex journal entries in line with policies, close timelines, and documentation standards
- Perform severance, restructuring, and consolidated variance analysis, including journals, reconciliations, accruals, and FP&A support
- Provide oversight of statements of work, disclosures, roll-forwards, variance analysis, and escalation of judgment-based issues
- Execute corporate and other allocations, including input validation, posting, and reconciliation
- Perform subledger reconciliations across payroll, leases, debt, derivatives, AP, and AR, resolving variances promptly
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close through adjustments, reconciliations, schedules, and documentation
- Prepare and review payroll, lease, debt, and derivatives accounting entries, including accruals and timing adjustments
- Assist with internal and external audits, internal controls, and stakeholder inquiries and help in Maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready documentation
- Contribute to process improvements focused on standardization, efficiency, and best practices
About the Team
The Record-to-Report Accounting team maintains general ledger integrity and supports accurate financial reporting across global entities. The team partners closely with Finance, FP&A, and shared services to execute close activities, uphold strong internal controls, and drive continuous process improvement within a global operating model.
