Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, including journal entries, close, reconciliations, allocations, and consolidations in multi-entity environments
- Solid technical knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS with the ability to apply guidance, exercise judgment, and ensure policy compliance
- Proven experience leading accounting teams with a focus on performance, accountability, and strong controls
- Demonstrated ability to manage period-end close activities with accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness
- Strong analytical skills, including variance analysis and escalation of material issues
- Experience partnering with FP&A, Tax, Audit, and other finance stakeholders to explain results and resolve issues
- Proficiency with SAP, BlackLine, and advanced Excel
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI concepts with hands-on experience using AI tools to improve efficiency, solve business problems, and support responsible and ethical AI use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus, CPA or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager leads Record-to-Report activities to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across global operations.
- Oversee and approve recurring journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead corporate and other allocation processes, including methodology review, approval, and reconciliation
- Manage severance, restructuring, and consolidated variance analysis in partnership with FP&A
- Direct period-end close activities, including accruals, subledger and GL reviews, adjustments, and eliminations
- Ensure accurate consolidated results through review of intercompany activity, group adjustments, and management reporting
- Oversee payroll accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Review and approve low-risk or recurring accounting memoranda for policy compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls and audit-ready documentation
About the Team
The Record-to-Report Accounting team is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and delivering accurate, compliant financial reporting across global entities. The team operates within a shared services and global delivery model and partners closely with Finance, FP&A, Tax, and Audit to execute period-end close activities, uphold strong internal controls, and drive continuous improvement.
