Skills and Competencies

  • Experience working in a legal or compliance privacy role within a global organization required

  • Strong experience researching and interpreting laws and regulations

  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint, including content management and site maintenance

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate proactively in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience using privacy compliance platforms such as OneTrust preferred

  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in law, Legal Studies, Business, Compliance, or a related field required, or at least 3 years experience working in a related field

Responsibilities

Support Moody’s global data privacy program by managing legal compliance activities, privacy operations, reporting, and process improvements across multiple jurisdictions. 

  • Conduct legal research to:

    •  Maintain and update Moody’s internal global privacy, cyber, data breach, and data broker law know-how charts

    • Conduct gap analyses of requirements of new laws

    • Draft Moody’s internal monthly global privacy, which provides latest legal news and updates to the business regarding recent privacy laws, enforcement and court cases.

  • Incident management triaging and assessing potential personal data incidents, and logging and escalating incidents.

  • Support day-to-day global privacy operations and compliance initiatives in a proactive manner

  • Leverage artificial intelligence and workflow tools to automate processes such as intake, logging, tracking, and reporting of privacy reviews and data incidents

About the Team

Our Global Privacy Team supports Moody’s enterprise-wide privacy compliance framework across a complex and evolving global data landscape. The team partners with stakeholders across the business to manage privacy risks, maintain compliance with global regulations, support innovative data and technology solutions, and enable responsible use of emerging technologies including GenAI and Agentic AI. By joining the team, you will contribute to the development of scalable privacy practices that support Moody’s data, analytics, software, and risk intelligence businesses worldwide.
