Skills and Competencies

  • Extensive 15–20+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility for complex global accounting operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Deep expertise in United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), internal controls, financial compliance, accruals, prepaids, cash accounting, and expense recognition
  • Proven ability to lead large global accounting organizations, including management of senior leaders and oversight of onshore and offshore delivery models
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Legal, Audit, and external audit functions
  • Demonstrated success leading finance transformation initiatives involving process standardization, automation, systems enhancements, and operating model evolution
  • Advanced proficiency with enterprise financial systems and accounting platforms, including SAP, BlackLine, reconciliation tools, and consolidation processes
  • Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency while promoting responsible AI governance and risk management

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional accounting designation strongly preferred
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Lead the global Non-Compensation Accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong governance, operational excellence, and continuous transformation across enterprise accounting processes

  • Establish and execute the global strategy, operating model, and governance framework for Non-Compensation Accounting across multiple entities and jurisdictions
  • Provide executive oversight of global cash, bank accounting, accruals, prepaids, consulting expenses, and related accounting activities to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting
  • Exercise final decision authority on complex accounting matters, judgments, estimates, and policy interpretation while ensuring alignment with applicable accounting standards
  • Lead global month-end and quarter-end close activities, driving operational excellence, risk mitigation, and timely issue resolution
  • Maintain a best-in-class control environment and audit readiness program, partnering with internal and external auditors to support reviews and remediation activities
  • Build and develop a high-performing global organization through talent development, succession planning, capability building, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Partner with senior finance leadership and key stakeholders to align on strategic priorities, performance outcomes, and enterprise-wide accounting initiatives
  • Sponsor and lead large-scale transformation programs focused on automation, standardization, process optimization, and global delivery model enhancement

About the Team

Our team is responsible for providing enterprise-wide oversight of non-payroll-related accounting activities to support accurate financial reporting, strong governance, and audit readiness. The team partners closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Audit, and shared service organizations to execute and continuously enhance accounting operations across multiple global entities. By joining our team, you will help drive accounting excellence, global process standardization, and finance transformation initiatives while leveraging innovative technologies, including artificial intelligence solutions, to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization
