Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle, application deployment processes, and release management concepts
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams in a global environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies and processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and collaboration tools
- Exposure to release management, change management, DevOps, or project coordination is preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of technology releases across Moody’s applications and platforms.
- Coordinate and track application and infrastructure releases across development, testing, and production environments
- Maintain release schedules, deployment calendars, checklists, and supporting documentation
- Partner with engineering, QA, infrastructure, security, and product teams to confirm release readiness
- Ensure change requests, approvals, implementation plans, and rollback procedures are complete and accurate
- Communicate release status, dependencies, risks, and issues to stakeholders
- Support deployment activities, validation testing, release closure, and audit documentation
- Track release metrics and contribute to process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives
- Assist with technology governance, change management, and continuous improvement activities
About the Team
The Technology Operations team helps ensure the reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of technology changes across Moody’s applications and platforms. Working closely with engineering, infrastructure, information security, quality assurance, and product teams, the group focuses on release coordination, operational excellence, risk management, and continuous improvement of software delivery processes.
