Skills and Competencies

  • 2 or more years of business experience in a data, analytics, or finance environment. Working knowledge of Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report and dashboard development. Familiarity with JIRA for tracking tasks, sprints, and delivery status
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and reporting purposes is preferred but not required
  • Experience assisting with technical documentation such as Technical Design Documents is preferred but not required
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency.
  • Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or another quantitative field required

Responsibilities

  • Develops Power BI dashboards and coordinates data engineering delivery to support analytics and reporting needs for the Finance department.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, including data modeling, DAX measures, and row-level security, to support the business intelligence and analytics needs of the Finance department
  • Support data and analytics requests by transforming raw pipeline and project data into clear, production-ready business intelligence reports and visual insights
  • Work closely with data engineers and business stakeholders, tracking tasks, dependencies, and blockers in JIRA to keep the delivery pipeline on schedule
  • Assist data engineers with project artifacts, including Technical Design Documents, process documentation, and delivery checklists. Maintain the Power BI service including gateways, dataflows, and workspace administration to ensure reliable and repeatable reporting processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve reporting and data quality issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in sprint planning and delivery reviews to support continuous improvement of the analytics delivery process
