Skills and Competencies
  • Strong online research skills are required to identify and obtain AML/KYC, regulatory, corporate governance and Modern Slavery documents from official sources and company websites
  • High attention to detail is required to verify documentation before records are updated
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills are required to document research findings, maintain clear records and communicate issues or questions to colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines and maintain accurate documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is required to maintain trackers, update records and support day-to-day team activities
  • Ability to follow established procedures, apply feedback and make sound decisions on when to seek guidance is required to ensure high quality and consistent outcomes
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
  • A relevant bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Law, Compliance, Data Management or a related discipline, or suitable equivalent experience, is preferable but not required
Responsibilities
Entry level position supporting the collection, validation and maintenance of AML/KYC, regulatory and Modern Slavery documentation to enhance Moody's global compliance data offerings
  • Conduct research using official registries, company websites, regulatory sources, and other approved resources to locate documentation for financial institutions and corporate entities worldwide
  • Collect and review anti-money laundering, know your customer, corporate governance, regulatory, and modern slavery documentation in accordance with established collection criteria and quality standards
  • Verify the authenticity, relevance, currency, and completeness of documents before processing and maintaining records
  • Maintain accurate and organized records within internal systems, ensuring files, source information, and supporting documentation remain complete and up to date
  • Utilize approved research tools, automation solutions, and artificial intelligence technologies to support document discovery, improve efficiency, and enhance data quality while following responsible artificial intelligence practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance research methods, documentation standards, and operational processes
  • Collaborate with team members on assigned projects and progressively take ownership of routine responsibilities with increasing levels of independence
  • Perform quality control of collected documentation and records, identifying discrepancies and supporting corrective actions to maintain data accuracy and consistency
  • Respond to client requests by providing accurate document research outcomes, supporting information, and timely updates in accordance with service expectations
About the Team
Our investment data AML/KYC Documents Team is responsible for collecting, validating and maintaining AML/KYC, regulatory, corporate governance, and Modern Slavery documentation for financial institutions and corporate entities worldwide. The team contributes to Moody's by expanding document coverage across our compliance data products, improving the quality and accuracy of compliance data available to customers, and providing access to documentation that supports due diligence, regulatory compliance and compliance health check activities. By joining our team, you will be involved in global document collection, compliance documentation research, and data quality initiatives. The team is also increasingly leveraging artificial intelligence and automation technologies to enhance document discovery, improve research efficiency, increase product coverage, and support responsible innovation through the ethical use of AI.
