- Superb analytical skills with persistence in problem solving and the ability to learn quickly and independently; strong logical thinking with the ability to develop robust code for data analysis and quality control processes
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data analysis findings in a clear, structured manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; able to break down complex data quality issues into simple, accessible explanations
- Proficiency in SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL); experience with a scripting language (Python) and a statistical package (R); proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Experience working with AWS (Glue, Athena) and Large Language Models
- Ability to correctly read and interpret financial statements such as 10-K and 10-Q filings; working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and other regional accounting principles
- Exposure to third-party Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, R Shiny) and ETL tools (e.g., CloverETL) — preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required
- Graduate degree and/or 1–2 years of relevant work experience is a plus
- Monitor and analyze data quality trends and develop strategies to improve data quality over time; develop and maintain data quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of data quality processes
- Design and implement data quality monitoring and reporting processes to ensure ongoing data accuracy and consistency
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend actionable solutions
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines and calculations to feed credit risk measurement products and related models
- Extract financial information and equity data from publicly available company reports to conduct thorough validations and reconcile data obtained from external vendors with public disclosures
- Map financial line items from company reports to specific model inputs; apply data transformation techniques to standardize and prepare data for analytical processing; stay current with financial reporting standards
- Identify opportunities to improve data operations processes through automation or other means; build data models for input and output of credit risk models; perform quality control on data by analyzing patterns and discrepancies
- Develop and implement AI-powered data quality strategies to improve the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data assets; maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in generative AI and translate this expertise into actionable designs
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $75,900.00 - $110,100.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
