Skills and Competencies
- Relevant work experience, internships or academic projects in finance, accounting, economics, credit analysis or a related field
- Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and assess business and credit risk
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
- Proactive team player with a continuous learning mindset, including interest in financial markets, data analytics, and AI-driven tools
- Experience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Strong academic background, equivalent to a Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- CFA professional qualification such as CFA highly beneficial
Responsibilities
Support credit rating, research and market outreach activities through financial analysis, research and collaboration with global analytical teams.
- Support Credit Rating Analysts in the assignment and monitoring of credit ratings across a range of industries and markets
- Analyze financial statements, market developments, company disclosures and industry trends to assess credit quality and risk
- Prepare financial models, forecasts and analytical materials used throughout the rating process
- Draft rating committee memoranda and participate in rating committee discussions
- Contribute to the production and publication of credit research reports and market commentary
- Monitor issuers, industries and macroeconomic developments to identify potential impacts on creditworthiness
- Support investor and issuer engagement activities, including preparing presentations and meeting materials
- Utilize digital, automation and artificial intelligence-enabled tools to improve analytical efficiency, streamline workflows and enhance data-driven insights
- Participate in ongoing professional development through training, mentorship and practical experience across global markets

Our Ratings & Research Support (RRS) team is responsible for supporting Moody's global credit rating and research activities by delivering high-quality analytical, operational and research support to rating teams across multiple sectors and regions. By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work across global financial markets while gaining exposure to emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, sustainability, cyber risk, private credit and evolving industry trends. You will collaborate with colleagues across international locations and contribute to innovative solutions that are transforming how credit risk is analyzed and monitored.
