- Experience with TypeScript and Playwright, or a strong foundational understanding of programming and test automation concepts applied to UI, API, integration, and regression testing
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and version control practices, with the ability to integrate and execute automated tests within continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows
- Ability to build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and design reliable test cases, including management of test data and automation assets
- Interest in and experience using AI-assisted tools such as Codex, Claude Code, and similar AI command-line interface tools to enhance automation productivity in software development and testing
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and general AI concepts, with the ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated code, test cases, and documentation
- Ability to work in an Agile team environment, manage changing priorities, and collaborate effectively with developers, engineers, and product owners
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills with a commitment to automation standards and overall product quality
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field
- Develop and maintain automated tests using TypeScript and Playwright, building reusable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and regression testing
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Codex, Claude Code, and similar AI command-line interface tools to improve automation productivity and development efficiency
- Apply prompt engineering and context engineering techniques to provide effective instructions and relevant context when working with AI tools
- Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code, test cases, and documentation to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with testing standards
- Design reliable test cases, maintain test data and automation assets, and integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows
- Review test results, maintain automation coverage, analyze test failures, and support root cause analysis and resolution of automation issues
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to define test requirements and acceptance criteria
- Contribute to automation standards, framework improvements, test coverage, and overall product quality in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $78,300.00 - $113,550.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
