Skills and Competencies

  • 3–6 years of experience as a Software Developer with strong proficiency in the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
  • Hands-on experience building WinForms, web applications, APIs, and enterprise services using C#, .NET, MVC, Web APIs, and TypeScript.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET 8, and .NET Framework 4.8 with solid object-oriented design and architectural principles.
  • Experience modernising and optimising legacy applications, including performance tuning and refactoring.
  • Knowledge of relational databases; exposure to NoSQL databases preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Linux environments, and DevOps tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, and Postman.
  • Exposure to Python and VBA for automation is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.

Education

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support scalable software solutions for asset and structured finance products in a global technology environment.
  • Develop, test, debug, and maintain high-quality software applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Contribute to technical design and architecture discussions aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.
  • Support deployments, upgrades, and production issues to ensure application stability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders.

You will join Moody’s Analytics Asset Management technology team within the Structured Finance group, a global and collaborative team focused on building advanced software and analytics solutions for leading financial institutions.
