Skills and Competencies

• Experience in business analysis, product analysis, credit analysis, digital assets, financial technology, capital markets or structured finance
• Strong understanding of digital asset market structure, tokenization, stablecoins, distributed ledger technologies and digital market infrastructure
• Experience performing data analysis, data mapping and business data requirements definition to support analytical workflows and technology-enabled business processes.
• Experience with business process analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, workflow design and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to translate complex analytical, market and business concepts into scalable operating capabilities and strategic initiatives
• Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder coordination and written communication skills
• Extensive experience working with distributed ledger technologies, including permissioned and permissionless networks, decentralized finance protocols, node infrastructure and blockchain oracles
• Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency, supported by awareness of AI risk management and responsible and ethical AI use

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in finance, economics, business, technology, engineering, data analytics or a related field

Responsibilities

Help shape and scale digital economy capabilities that deliver credit-relevant insights across evolving financial markets

• Support the evolution of digital economy capabilities by identifying opportunities to extend analytical insights into emerging market structures and distribution channels
• Lead and/or support data analysis, data mapping and requirements discovery activities to identify business needs, define data flows and inform product and technology solutions.
• Support the development and refinement of business processes, operating models and workflows that translate business requirements into scalable product and technology solutions supporting ratings and credit analysis workflows
• Translate strategic priorities and business requirements into scalable operating capabilities that support long-term growth and adoption
• Partner with analytical, technology, risk, commercial and operational stakeholders to align priorities, sequencing and delivery objectives
• Establish structured processes for evaluating, prioritizing and advancing strategic opportunities across the digital economy landscape
• Analyze developments across digital assets, tokenization and market infrastructure to identify opportunities for new analytical capabilities
• Evaluate opportunities to use emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and advanced analytics, to enhance business processes and analytical capabilities
• Contribute to research, publications, educational materials and internal perspectives on digital assets, technology innovation and credit considerations
• Support senior leadership by translating complex strategic, market and operational considerations into actionable recommendations

About the Team

Our Digital Economy team within Moody’s Ratings supports the firm’s strategy for innovative technologies including digital assets, tokenization, decentralized finance, stablecoins, on-chain infrastructure and data-driven innovation. The team works across analytical, technology, risk oversight, commercial and operational functions to develop scalable capabilities that help Moody’s Ratings understand, assess, ingest and deliver credit-relevant insights in digital financial markets.
