Moody’s Analytics Technology Rotation Program

Are you a recent graduate? Do you want to be a part of a community of developers at the intersection of finance and technology? Join our Moody’s Analytics Technology Rotation (MATR) program and get exposure to a wide variety of technologies and experiences along the way.

MATR participants complete four, six-month rotations across two years before receiving a final team placement at the end of the program.  MATR is open to new graduates who have studied Computer Science, Software Engineering or another related field.  MATR participants are passionate about learning and working with any or all the following: Java, .NET, Scala, Apache Spark, Hadoop, AngularJS, React, Python, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. We begin posting MATR positions in September.

Moody’s Analytics

Rotate amongst the Moody’s Analytics (MA) teams if you are interested in building state-of-the-art software and web pages and helping the world’s largest financial institutions navigate risk. MA provide research, data, analytics, software, and professional services with the goal to help our customers make better, faster decisions.

Central Information Technology

Join our Central IT (CIT) teams if you are interested in solving complex, enterprise-wide problems or learning more about the various aspects of cyber security. Our CIT teams provide technology services to all areas of our firm with the objectives of increasing technology agility and speed, enabling rapid innovation for our business, improving product and service quality, and protecting Moody’s information assets.

Moody’s Investors Service Technology

If you are interested in helping rearchitect applications and business processes from the ground up join our MIS Tech (MIST) rotation teams. MIST is redesigning the platforms that provide ratings for the entire country and world. These teams are looking for team members that are self-starters who are passionate about building new creative capabilities through state-of-the-art technology patterns.

Moody’s Investors Service Early Careers

Want to do highly visible work that moves financial markets forward? Join us as a Ratings Associate (formerly called Associate Analyst 3 or AA3) where you’ll conduct comprehensive analysis on an assigned portfolio of credit ratings.

Ratings Associates at Moody’s engage in interesting, challenging, and highly visible work focused on ratings accuracy, research and market outreach. In collaboration with Lead Analysts, Ratings Associates directly contribute to Moody’s voice in the market by actively participating in rating committee discussions and interacting with issuers and other market participants.

Moody’s Analytics Graduate Program

Are you a recent graduate interested in helping people make better decisions? Join us for a 1-to-2-year role within the Moody’s Analytics Graduate Program. Gain in-depth insight into a variety of financial institutions while working within our Banking or Insurance departments. Deliver high quality products and services across our client base and learn all about Moody’s Analytics while you’re at it! With a combination of formal and on-the-job training, alongside ongoing mentoring, you’ll get to team up with a variety of experienced professionals within and outside of Moody’s.

Global summer internships are open to current students. We begin posting internship positions in September. In addition to our summer program, off-cycle and end of studies internships may be offered in certain countries.

Working Students

Want to get valuable work experience while taking classes? Expand your theoretical knowledge with practical experience in one of our working student roles! In select locations, we hire current students to split their time between studies and work. Program details are dependent on the country and university requirements. Applications open periodically.
