Skills and Competencies
- Analytical and organizational skills to validate data, maintain trackers, and monitor key performance indicators accurately
- Clear written and verbal communication skills to document procedures, gather audit evidence, and coordinate with stakeholders
- Foundational knowledge of endpoint technology, information security, compliance, or infrastructure concepts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow established processes, and escalate risks or data gaps appropriately
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet, reporting, or dashboard tools; experience with scripting, automation, or data visualization is preferred. Exposure to Microsoft Intune, Power BI, Azure, Nexthink, or similar enterprise platforms is a plus
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to learning in a fast-paced engineering environment
Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, engineering, data analytics, or a related field
- Relevant coursework or project experience in systems administration, endpoint management, automation, data analysis, or information security is preferred
- Graduation date between December 2027 - June 2029
- Availability to work the internship dates: June 7 - August 13, 2027
Responsibilities
Support endpoint engineering through reporting, compliance tracking, automation, documentation, testing, and project coordination.
- Prepare recurring reports, Power BI dashboards, and KPI updates; collect, organize, and document audit evidence per established controls
- Monitor endpoint compliance and remediation activities using platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Nexthink; maintain trackers, validate data, and escalate exceptions for engineering review
- Assist with automation, data cleanup, and process standardization to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort
- Support project execution through testing, documentation, and status updates, and contribute to endpoint security initiatives such as patch management, browser hardening, endpoint compliance, and zero-trust activities
- Assist with vulnerability remediation, endpoint management, Azure Virtual Desktop improvements, and infrastructure modernization initiatives
- Analyze endpoint telemetry and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for automation and process improvement
- Help transition execution activities to Digital Workplace Operations through data validation, documentation, coordination, and tracking
About the Team:
Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June - August. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody’s business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
