Skills and Competencies

• Strong experience in structured finance analytics (RMBS, ABS, CMBS, CLOs) and cashflow modeling to support client solutions
• Proficiency in programming (Python, SQL or similar) and experience building analytical tools and API-based workflows
• Ability to translate client requirements into scalable, data-driven solutions and workflows
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to enhance analytics and model performance
• Effective communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Exposure to automation, data pipelines, or AI/ML techniques preferred for scalable solution delivery

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience with 5+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client-driven analytics solutions and structured finance models while driving product adoption, automation, and scalable analytics workflows.
• Partner with global clients to understand requirements and deliver customized analytics solutions
• Develop and maintain structured finance models and client-specific analytical workflows
• Support client onboarding, demos, and proof-of-concepts in collaboration with sales teams
• Build scalable solutions using APIs, automation, and internal analytical platforms
• Collaborate with product and technology teams to enhance features and improve usability
• Troubleshoot models and analytics outputs to improve accuracy and performance
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve data quality and efficiency
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to cross-functional initiatives

About the team

Our Structured Finance & Client Solutions team is responsible for delivering client-centric analytics and data-driven solutions across structured finance asset classes.
The team contributes to Moody’s by:
Driving client adoption and engagement through customized analytics solutions
Supporting product innovation by translating client needs into platform enhancements
Enhancing scalability and efficiency through automation, APIs, and advanced analytics
