Skills and Competencies
- 3–5 years of product management experience, preferably within financial services, risk management software, enterprise platforms, or related technology environments
- Strong understanding of software development concepts and the ability to partner closely with engineering teams on technical trade-offs, platform design, and product delivery
- Experience translating complex business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and roadmap priorities
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively in ambiguous environments while balancing stakeholder needs, business objectives, and technical constraints
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with experience working across product, engineering, data science, and client-facing teams
- Experience with search technologies, relevance optimization, semantic search, application programming interfaces, experimentation, or large language model-enabled products is preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, evolution, and delivery of a modern enterprise search platform that powers information discovery across Moody’s Analytics products and client experiences
- Shape product strategy and roadmap priorities for the Search as a Platform initiative in partnership with engineering and senior product leadership
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear product specifications, user stories, and actionable requirements for development teams
- Drive experimentation programs, including relevance testing, user feedback analysis, and data-driven validation of search improvements
- Partner with engineering, data science, and platform teams to deliver scalable search capabilities and enhance end-user experiences
- Support the transition from legacy search infrastructure while helping define the future-state architecture and capabilities of enterprise search solutions
- Engage directly with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand needs, prioritize enhancements, and communicate product direction
- Monitor product performance, define success metrics, and use insights to continuously improve search relevance, usability, and platform adoption
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams and ensure alignment between business objectives, technical execution, and client outcomes

Our Digital Content & Innovation team is responsible for creating intelligent platforms and experiences that help clients and employees discover, access, and leverage critical information across Moody’s Analytics. By joining our team, you will be part of a global organization focused on enterprise search, generative artificial intelligence, agentic solutions, and next-generation digital products that drive innovation, operational efficiency, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies across the business.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $119,100.00 - $172,650.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
