• Fluency in spoken and written English is essential and fluency in an additional language is preferred (French, German, Spanish, Russian, Arabic)

Education 

• Minimum of Undergraduate / First Level degree (or equivalent)

Responsibilities 

The Commercial Operations Associate provides internal and customer-facing support across key commercial operational activities, including revenue recognition, billing and invoicing, and regulatory compliance

• Support Sales teams with post-handover operational activities, enabling them to focus on client relationship management and business development.
• Manage mandates from handover through billing, ensuring timely process execution and a seamless client experience.
• Deliver premium customer service by responding to issuer inquiries and interacting with clients regarding billing, invoicing, VAT, and other operational matters.
• Partner with Sales, Global Middle Office, Pricing, Billing, and Collections to resolve Unbilled revenue, aged Accounts Receivable, and other commercial operational issues.
• Collaborate with Legal and other internal stakeholders to address post-handover documentation and client requirements.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and commercial data to support decision-making, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, Salesforce data quality, operational efficiency, and the overall customer experience, including the use of AI tools and automation solutions where appropriate.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and contribute to regulatory compliance, risk management, and process improvement initiatives.
• Actively contribute to special projects, ad hoc initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Contribute to risk management and process control activities to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.

Our EMEA Commercial Operations Team is part of the broader Commercial Operations function within Commercial. The team plays a critical role in supporting the commercial lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a seamless customer experience. By joining our team, you will help manage key operational processes related to billing, revenue recognition, and customer support, while driving continuous improvement through process optimization, risk management, data quality initiatives, and the use of technology and AI-enabled solutions. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple regions and functions, contributing to initiatives that deliver value to both our customers and Moody’s. As part of a dynamic, collaborative, and diverse global team, you will play an important role in supporting business growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and continuously improving the way we work

Annual base salary gross: €26,200.00 to €41,800.00. Applicable to Lithuania candidates: The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moody’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of Moody’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards and benefits include the following: Medical, Personal Accident, Life Insurance and Time Off.
