Skills and Competencies

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering insights from analyses of complex datasets
  • Expertise in Python and SQL
  • Experience in data analysis, machine learning and natural language processing, with a strong knowledge of algorithms and principles
  • Strong understanding of software development and version control practices, including Git, to support collaborative and reproducible analytics development
  • Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work with limited support and thrive in a fast-paced environment, with accountability to clear targets, deadlines and outcomes
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity, corporate finance or debt markets is a plus

Education

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field
  • Candidates pursuing a Diplôme d’Ingénieur are also eligible
  • Ability to complete a 6-month internship starting February 2026

Responsibilities

Support the development of data-driven solutions that identify cyber-related credit risk signals and transform complex data into actionable business insights.

  • Develop solutions to identify and extract meaningful signals from diverse cybersecurity and financial data sources
  • Select, train and evaluate machine learning models to support predictive analytics, including work with complex, limited or imbalanced datasets
  • Design explainability tools that help business stakeholders understand model outputs and insights
  • Collaborate with technology teams to build and maintain data ingestion and processing pipelines across multiple data sources and formats
  • Communicate findings, recommendations and model performance to business stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Partner with Ratings and Research subject matter experts to incorporate domain expertise into analytical frameworks and predictive models
  • Stay current with the latest research and technology developments across cybersecurity, finance, and AI domains

About the Team

Our Cyber Credit Risk team is responsible for developing data-driven methodologies and analytical solutions that identify cyber-related risks and their impact on credit outcomes. The team contributes to Moody’s by advancing innovative risk assessment capabilities, generating actionable insights for market participants, and supporting research and rating activities through the integration of cybersecurity and financial expertise. Our team actively leverages artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to enhance analytical processes, uncover emerging risk signals, and drive innovation while promoting the responsible and ethical adoption of AI across our business.
