At Moody's, we unite the brightest minds to turn today’s risks into tomorrow’s opportunities. We do this by striving to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome to be who they are—with the freedom to exchange ideas, think innovatively, and listen to each other and customers in meaningful ways. Moody’s is transforming how the world sees risk. As a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment, we’re advancing AI to move from insight to action—enabling intelligence that not only understands complexity but responds to it. We decode risk to unlock opportunity, helping our clients navigate uncertainty with clarity, speed, and confidence.
If you are excited about this opportunity but do not meet every single requirement, please apply! You still may be a great fit for this role or other open roles. We are seeking candidates who model our values: invest in every relationship, lead with curiosity, champion diverse perspectives, turn inputs into actions, and uphold trust through integrity.
- 8+ years of product management experience, including at least one product taken from inception to commercial launch; required because this role owns a pre-launch product line end to end
- Hands-on experience building and shipping products powered by artificial intelligence or machine learning — ideally computer vision, large language or vision-language models, or conversational agents — including familiarity with model evaluation, guardrails, and the operational realities of non-deterministic systems; required for credible partnership with the engineering team and for designing trustworthy product experiences
- Demonstrated commercial accountability, including shaping pricing and packaging in partnership with commercial teams, executing product launches, and converting pilot engagements into paying customers; required because this role is measured on commercial results
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives spanning engineering, legal, privacy, risk, design, and go-to-market functions; required given the active governance and launch workstreams this role inherits
- Strong customer discovery and enterprise client-facing skills, with the ability to present to senior executives and drive clarity in ambiguous, fast-moving contexts; required for leading carrier design partnerships
- Experience in property and casualty insurance, insurance technology, or property data and analytics preferred; experience with consumer-facing business-to-business-to-consumer products, including privacy and white-labeling considerations, desired
- Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required; an advanced degree in a technical or business discipline preferred
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and commercial outcomes for the Property Inspections product line, which comprises multiple AI-native products at different stages of maturity
- Define and sequence each product's path from minimum viable product through preview release to general availability, and drive the formal launch process including release criteria, sales enablement, training, support readiness, and market announcement
- Partner with the pricing and packaging function to ensure commercial models reflect product value to carriers, and manage the commercial funnel from evaluation agreements through proof of value to paid conversion, with accountability for early revenue and adoption targets
- Lead design-partner and pilot relationships with insurance carriers and ecosystem partners, including evaluation plans, results reviews, feedback loops, and expansion conversations
- Collaborate daily with machine learning and platform engineering teams on scope, trade-offs, and delivery; arbitrate solution decisions and remove obstacles to production
- Advance legal, privacy, risk, and artificial intelligence governance workstreams to completion, including privacy assessments and consumer-facing product requirements
- Steward a growing proprietary property data asset — including ground-truth labeling programs and data partnership agreements — and shape the longer-term expansion strategy into commercial property insurance and adjacent use cases
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $183,300.00 - $265,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
