Title: Asst Dir-Experience Designer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business – telecommuting permitted)

Duties: Work in a multidisciplinary environment, and in a collaborative fashion, on user experience design activities throughout the software development lifecycle, often with numerous design initiatives occurring concurrently. Contribute to the design of the overall look and feel of interactive user interfaces across. Contribute to the experience design of interactive user interfaces across multiple products and platforms. Simplify and unify complex information into intuitive interactions, flows, charts, graphs, and other forms of visual representation. Employ usercentered design methods to develop user interface specifications such as use cases, site maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, and final user interface documentation. Create detailed
specifications of interactions and visual designs to communicate with developers. Perform quality assurance reviews of developed pages to ensure adherence to specifications. Contribute to the creation of prototypes to validate design concepts with stakeholders and customers. Contribute to the creation of a pattern library, to maintain consistency in behaviors across multiple products. Participate in the definition of user-centered design methodology.

Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Information Technology, or a closely related field plus at least three (3) years of experience as a Designer, Engineer, Analyst, or in a related position designing user interfaces and user experiences. Must have experience with the following: designing complex desktop and mobile web-based applications including wireframes, site maps, process flows, user research reports; conducting user research, visual design, and data visualization; working with Material UI; design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Axure RP, or Adobe CS; and with Jira, or Miro. Telecommuting Permitted (100% telecommuting position. Will consider applicants resident in the continental U.S.).

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $131,997 to $192,300, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
