Skills and Competencies

  • 4–6 years owning end-to-end events, brand activations, or experiential marketing programs, with meaningful agency-side, BTL, or experiential experience managing multiple client programs simultaneously
  • Demonstrable portfolio defining concept and experience for events/activations
  • Strong creative judgment and logistics execution under pressure, while managing budgets, run-of-show, vendors, and contingency planning
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams, regions, and time zones, with fluent professional English (spoken and written) required.
  • Availability for international travel, plus experience briefing and managing creative and production agencies, including scope negotiation and quality control
  • Hands-on event platform expertise (e.g., Cvent, ON24, Zoom Events, Splash, or similar) personally configuring registration, communications, and attendee journeys, not delegating them
  • Practical CRM experience (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics) for invitation segmentation, lead capture, and post-event reporting, alongside producing/maintaining reporting dashboards (Power BI preferred) and using marketing automation tools
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use

Education

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in marketing, communications, business, events, or a related field
  • Additional coursework or certifications in event management, digital marketing, or project management preferred

Responsibilities

The Senior Associate Event & Outreach supports the operational delivery of high-quality in-person and virtual events across the region, contributing to global programs and ensuring seamless, engaging attendee experiences.

  • Propose creative concepts, formats, and brand-experience moments (attendee journey, activation, staging, content flow) that differentiate Moody's events rather than only delivering briefs received from others.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of LATAM-focused conferences, executive roundtables, webinars, and hybrid experiences, from concept through post-event reporting.
  • Build and manage the full operational backbone: event platforms, registration journeys, speaker coordination, run-of-show documents, staging, and on-site production.
  • Select, brief, and manage external agencies, production vendors, and venues, holding them to brand, budget, and quality standards.
  • Track timelines, budgets, milestones, and operational risks across multiple simultaneous programs.
  • Ensure every touchpoint — from invitation to follow-up — meets Moody's brand standards and delivers a polished, engaging attendee experience.
  • Build and present post-event reporting on registration, attendance, engagement, pipeline influence, and satisfaction, using dashboards (Power BI or similar) and CRM data.
  • Leverage automation and AI-enabled tools to streamline planning, communications, and reporting workflows, and travel internationally to lead and support on-site event execution.

As part of a global, collaborative group, you will work closely with regional stakeholders, marketing, content, brand, and external partners to deliver events that are thoughtful, seamless, and memorable. The team embraces experimentation, digital innovation, and continuous improvement to elevate both in-person and virtual engagement across the LATAM region and worldwide.
