Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: 7 World Trade Center, 250 Greenwich Street, New York, NY 10007 (Principal place of business – telecommuting permitted)

Duties: Design, Automate and manage scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Shell, Python, Powershell and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Leverage container orchestration platforms to support cloud-native architecture, ensuring optimal performance, resilience and scalability across environments. Implement infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible to standardize the provisioning and configuring the cloud resources across multiple environments. Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate application and infrastructure delivery in support of agile development practices. Monitor system health and performance by configuring comprehensive observability tools for logging, alerting and metrics collection, proactively addressing any operational issues. Collaborate with cross functional teams to align infrastructure solutions with application requirements, ensuring seamless deployments and optimal system performance. Document architectural decisions, technical processes and operational runbooks to support team onboarding, knowledge sharing and long-term maintainability of infrastructure systems. Requirements: Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field plus three (3) years of experience as a Software Engineer, or in
a related position performing software development and designing technical solutions. Full term of experience must include the following: architecting, designing, developing, and implementing solutions to support enhancements and bug fixes in existing and new applications; applying knowledge on design patterns, and software development methodologies, including Agile, and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for application development; working with Unix, Shell, Docker, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Vault, Kubernetes/Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), and automated testing tools, including Terraform, Ansible and Databricks; and working with version control systems, including GIT and BitBucket. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $160,805 to $192,300, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
