Skills and Competencies 

  • This role also requires in-depth Structured Finance knowledge and sound understanding of structural transaction features, through a proven experience as a structurer in a bank or as an analyst.
  • Extensive experience in Relationship Management, Commercial, Client Coverage, or related leadership roles, preferably within financial services or regulated environments.
  • Proven ability to manage senior level client relationships and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and judgment capabilities, with the ability to influence without authority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute relationship management strategy for Structured Finance in EMEA with the objective to grow the business. This includes senior outreach to Structured Finance stakeholders across EMEA.
  • Ensure service excellence and consistency across all customers touchpoints by partnering closely with internal partners.
  • Deliver against ambitious targets.
  • Generate and execute on all structured finance business opportunities.
  • Maintain high quality relationship and serve as trusted partners with arrangers, originators, asset managers, investors and other market participants.
  • Drive long term client value, retention, and expansion, aligning client objectives with firm strategy and offerings.
  • Anticipate client needs and market trends to proactively shape engagement strategies and solutions.
  • Partner with senior commercial leaders to support revenue, coverage growth and pricing discipline.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex issues, risks, and negotiations, ensuring timely resolution and risk mitigation.
  • Influence product, service, and operating model enhancements based on client insights and feedback.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Structured Finance teams of 4 relationship managers, building a strong and diverse talent pipeline.
  • Raise structured finance knowledge, including asset class knowledge about corporate and consumer securitization in EMEA to enhance focus on high quality market engagement.
  • Set clear expectations, drive performance, and support succession planning and capability development.
  • Demonstrate leadership presence and credibility with internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to firm policies, regulatory requirements, and risk standards in all client interactions.
  • Represent the firm internally and externally, contributing to senior forums, thought leadership, and strategic initiatives.

About the team

The Senior Vice President (SVP) – Relationship Management is a senior client facing leader responsible for EMEA Structured Finance covering, amongst others, ABS, CMBS, RMBS and CLOs. Mandate is on executing the existing deal flow, driving relevance and grow EMEA market share in Structured Finance.
