Skills and Competencies
  • Proven ability to develop and execute multi-year platform roadmaps aligned to enterprise objectives, with deep expertise in IT Service Management architecture, environment management, disaster recovery, and platform standardization best practices
  • Demonstrated track record of driving major platform upgrades, migrations, and large-scale transformations, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams of 25+ across multiple disciplines from business analysis and quality assurance to development and architecture
  • Strong portfolio management skills with experience overseeing concurrent portfolios of 10+ projects from intake through delivery, balancing business as usual operations with project execution
  • Experience governing complex integration ecosystems across identity, monitoring, governance, risk and compliance, and middleware platforms, along with strong vendor management skills in licensing, escalation, and strategic partnerships
  • Solid foundation in Configuration Management Database governance, data quality frameworks, federated ownership models, SOX compliance, audit readiness, and role-based security
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive sponsors, enterprise architects, and cross-functional leadership, and translate technical strategy into measurable business value
  • Deep expertise in artificial intelligence, with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions to drive strategic transformation and operational efficiency. Strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering a culture of responsible AI adoption across the organization
Education/Cerifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • IT Service Management certifications such as ITIL preferred; additional certifications in project management or enterprise architecture are a plus
Responsibilities
The ITSM Platform Owner leads enterprise platform strategy, governance, and cross-functional delivery to drive operational excellence and scalable IT service management capabilities across the organization.
  • Define and execute a multi-year IT Service Management platform roadmap, ensuring alignment to enterprise business objectives and stakeholder priorities
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks including architecture review boards, release management councils, and platform standardization policies to ensure consistent and controlled platform evolution
  • Lead major platform upgrades, migrations, and greenfield transformation initiatives, overseeing environment management, disaster recovery planning, and security hardening programs
  • Manage and develop a large, cross-functional team of 25+ professionals spanning business analysis, quality assurance, development, platform administration, and architecture, while balancing business as usual operations with project delivery
  • Oversee a concurrent portfolio of 10+ projects from intake through delivery, partnering with Program Management Office and delivery leads on prioritization, sizing, and milestone tracking
  • Govern complex integration ecosystems across identity, monitoring, governance, risk and compliance, and middleware platforms, while managing vendor relationships including licensing negotiations and support escalations
  • Maintain Configuration Management Database governance standards, data quality frameworks, and federated data ownership models, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements, audit readiness, and access control governance
  • Drive organizational change management for enterprise platform initiatives, communicating technical strategy and platform value to executive sponsors, enterprise architects, and cross-functional leadership
About the Team
Our Enterprise Data Management team, part of the Technology Services Group, is responsible for governing and advancing the enterprise data and platform capabilities that underpin Moody's core operations. The team partners closely with senior leaders, technology architects, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive data quality, platform reliability, and operational innovation — including the integration of AI-driven capabilities that shape how data and technology are managed and delivered across the enterprise. For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $168,700.00 - $244,600.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
