Skills and Competencies
- Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, Audio/Video system support
- Knowledge of ITIL process and ITSM framework
- Experience in Major Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Change Management, Release Management, Service Governance, and Metrics
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
- Server, Desktop, or Help Desk support
- Understanding of network protocols including DNS, Cisco Telephony, and equipment (routers/switches)
- Experience with Windows installer, imaging software, and desktop management suites (like SCCM, PXE, Intune, Auto Pilot)
- Working knowledge of enterprise-level networking and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of cloud services (i.e., AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, Zoom & Teams)
- M365 suite, office 365, SharePoint Online, OneDrive

- Graduation date of June 2026 - June 2027
- Ability to work during program dates: June 2nd - August 8th 2025
Responsibilities
- Gain knowledge of and put into practice the Agile methodology, which is based on its fundamental values and principles.
- Acquire and implement the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework to ensure IT services are in harmony with business objectives, following its fundamental stages.
- Strengthen partnerships with business and development teams to ensure the Technology Services Group (TSG) deliverables support Moody’s strategic objectives.
- Support software application performance by ensuring configurations adhere to industry best practices, provide leadership in solution architecture, and actively participate in development to optimize software functionality.
- Enhance system stability, data integrity, and user experience by sharing strategic insights and best practices with the development team.
- Promote knowledge transfer and training among support staff, champion in-house software solutions, and proactively engage with stakeholders to mitigate system issues.
- Keep stakeholders informed about new functionalities and drive continuous enhancement by setting best practices and streamlining implementation procedures.
- Apply DevOps methods to improve delivery results, document technical specifications, and collaborate extensively to boost implementation effectiveness.
- Address, analyze, and solve problems, taking full responsibility for resolutions.
- Uphold high standards of code quality through reviews, employ suitable design patterns, and support in addressing software application support challenges.
About the Program
The internship program provides hands-on experience in an Agile development environment, guided by the ITIL framework. Interns will focus on enhancing existing tools and developing innovative solutions for enterprise software applications. They will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand, refine, and document business and functional requirements. Responsibilities include creating detailed and accurate documentation such as use cases, concept documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria to meet the needs of all project stakeholders. This role combines leadership with hands-on development, helping stakeholders adopt software solutions that deliver real business value and ROI, while also supporting our internal development team's efforts to achieve these goals.
Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands-on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight. The program takes place each summer from June - August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full-time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills. Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration. As a Moody's intern, you will gain real-world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly rate for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
