We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology Infrastructure Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in public cloud service providers, private cloud capabilities, and hybrid cloud benefits. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies across compute, storage, and networking. The candidate will be responsible for leading Infrastructure & Cloud engineering, architecture, and operations management within our technology services group.
This position requires in-office work at our Charlotte, NC office.
Skills and Competencies
- 12+ years of experience in technology infrastructure engineering, architecture, and operations management
- 7+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of public cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), private cloud capabilities, and hybrid cloud benefits.
- Strong expertise in compute infrastructure, storage infrastructure, and networking infrastructure, including virtualization and containerization.
- Proficiency with monitoring and management tools, ITSM, and automation tools.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), financial industry experience, and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technology Infrastructure Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in public cloud service providers, private cloud capabilities, and hybrid cloud benefits. This role requires a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies across compute, storage, and networking. The candidate will be responsible for leading Infrastructure & Cloud engineering, architecture, and operations management within our technology services group.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the infrastructure team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee day-to-day technology infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
- Manage monitoring and management tools for infrastructure, including application performance and network monitoring, and ITSM tools.
- Develop and implement incident and change management processes to ensure timely issue resolution and minimize downtime.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning and configuration using automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific standards and best practices, including security and data protection requirements.
- Design, implement, and manage compute infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Develop and maintain storage solutions such as SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage services.
- Develop and maintain robust architecture for public, private, and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture.
For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $228K - $295K, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
