Skills and Competencies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information and draft documents needing minimal editing.
- Detail-oriented and organized, skilled in time management, multitasking, adapting to priorities, and working under pressure with a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing board processes and procedures with administrative proficiency; skilled at handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and collaborative tools.
- Previous experience in the financial services or professional services environments, with familiarity with compliance or regulatory obligations pertaining to securities trading or corporate board activities.
- Preferred: Experience with Nasdaq Board Vantage is beneficial (training can be provided).
Education
- Professional certifications in administration, project management, or finance are an asset.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical departmental support to deliver strategic initiatives aimed at optimizing legal and compliance operations and achieving business goals.
- Handle communications related to MCO and MIS Board meetings, including to MCO board members and the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).
- Function as the primary contact for MCO Directors’ assistants on matters related to scheduling, travel, reimbursements, and similar tasks, and handle processing of expense reimbursements for the Director.
- Oversee the board's web portal by posting and archiving meeting materials, as well as distributing itineraries from the Corporate Secretary.
- Track board meeting attendance.
- Lead the onboarding process for new directors by coordinating with various teams within Moody’s, including the Finance and People teams.
- Manage time-sensitive and highly confidential details with confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
- Support in delivering key strategic legal and compliance initiatives, coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the department's financial and budget management processes.
- Aid members of the Legal Department with various tasks such as preparing material for board meetings, team events, and internal and external presentations.
- Provide administrative support for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in coordination with other Legal Team administrators.
- Leverage AI tools and new ways of working to streamline processes and enhance departmental efficiency

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $78,500.00 - $113,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
