Skills and Competencies

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Excel and working experience with Salesforce and Anaplan are required to manage and analyze sales and crediting data effectively.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are essential for investigating discrepancies and identifying the root cause of issues.

• Systems Knowledge: A solid understanding of Sales Performance Management (SPM) systems and crediting rule logic is necessary to maintain operational integrity.

• Time Management: The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver in a timely manner is crucial in this fast-paced support role.

Responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely crediting of sales activities across Moody’s global teams to accurately measure sales growth and provide data for compensation models.

• Maintain and update crediting definitions, named account information, and territory deployments, resolving data mismatches as they arise.

• Coordinate with the SPM Systems team for the automation of crediting rules and manage manual overrides when necessary.

• Test and validate the integration and data flow between Anaplan (for Territory Quote Management) and Varicent (the SPM platform).

• Triage and resolve cases from the Sales Performance team mailbox, investigating territory deployment discrepancies and escalating complex issues as needed.

• Manage Sales Change Requests (SCRs), including SRB removals, roster changes, and new territory creation.

• Analyze complex transactions such as cancellations, adjustments, and territory gaps to ensure accurate classification in Salesforce for commissions and reporting.

• Provide input on Anaplan system enhancements and participate in workshops to help refine and improve crediting processes.

About the team
Our Sales Performance Management team is responsible for controlling and operating the variable compensation program for the MA Global Sales Team. We assign credit for transactions to sales professionals, calculate commission payments, and report on results by using and maintaining our internal platform in conjunction with our Salesforce CRM system and partnering closely with sales representatives and managers. By joining our team, you will be part of the critical work that ensures our sales teams are compensated accurately and on time.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly range for this position is $56,300.00 - $84,500.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
