Skills and Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing role (e.g., technical sales, solutions consulting) within the financial services, information services, or data analytics industries, preferably with exposure to SaaS solutions.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth analysis of business processes and client workflows to identify pain points and align technical solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in technical sales, with the ability to lead product demos, proof-of-concepts, and trial evaluations for data and software solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commercial mindset with a drive to win new customers and experience supporting complex sales cycles.
- Interest in or past experience with Trade Credit, Supplier Risk, TPRM, or Sales & Marketing use-cases is desired.
- Familiarity with Spark, SQL, or Python for API development is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Drive the pre-sales function for the Corporate segment by understanding client workflows, aligning Moody’s solutions, and demonstrating their value.
- Support the sales team to drive the pre-sales process from qualification through to solution alignment.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of client workflows, processes, and business requirements to identify pain points and map Moody's solutions to their specific challenges.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
- Demonstrate the value of Moody’s solutions through compelling product demos, proof-of-concepts, and trial evaluations.
- Act as a bridge between clients and product development teams, conveying feedback and insights to inform product enhancements and innovation.
- Work closely with product and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and connectivity between Moody’s products, creating a cohesive client experience.
- Leverage AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, and drive innovation.

Our Strategic Accounts Sales Solutions team is responsible for driving growth and delivering tailored solutions to our most valued clients. We contribute to Moody’s by:

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $93,600.00 - $135,750.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
