Skills and Competencies
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java
- Solid understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Exposure to or hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks or APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini etc)
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and Unix/Linux environments
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a clear communicator
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Preferred
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices
- Interest in data infrastructure and AI-driven applications
Education
- Currently a rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
- Graduation date of December 2026 – June 2028
- Ability to work during program dates: June 1st - August 7th 2026
Responsibilties
- Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test software solutions using Python, Java, and SQL
- Contribute to projects involving Generative AI (e.g., model integration, prompt engineering, evaluation)
- Assist in automating and optimizing data pipelines, data extraction, and backend services
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and technical discussions
- Document technical processes and share knowledge with the team

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly range for this position is $35, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location.
